A few weeks ago I was unlucky enough to suffer a snapped crank whilst cycling to work. As you can see from the dirt in the stub above, this must have been a fairly old injury that had been gradually worsening over time. One of the big problems I have with film is that quite often I don’t get though a roll very quickly – which means photographs lay in the camera undeveloped or seen for literally years. Last year I cycled to Southend as part of the coast to coast training – around 35 miles which I did enjoy and it’s nice now having the photos to think back to that day!

I’ve finally got round to sorting through some of my recent film photos.
The shiny new Olympic park may loom over industrial Bow, but evidently the beautification hasn’t got this far downstream yet.
